Adrian refuses to leave the house; she's considering getting a GED though Ben simply wants her to graduate next year with him. Her parents are at odds over how to deal with her grief. Ben has returned to school but he's also dealing with his grief.
Amy decides to change some things in her life, starting by moving in with Ricky. And, yes, Ricky and Amy are having sex now. Amy's feeling a bit guilty for being so happy as Ben and Adrian struggle with their loss.
Ricky meets with Dr. Fields (Ernie Hudson).
Grace is away on a medical mission.
Leo's assistant Camille (Tricia O'Kelley) guest-stars, as do Tom's love interest Rachel (Annie Tedesco) and Grace's mom Kathleen (Josie Bissett).
