Renee stars as April in Bling Ring (best title ever!), a flick about the “Burglar Bunch,” a group of real-life teens who stole three-million dollars worth of stuff from celebs like Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan in 2009.
OMG, is Renee setting aside her good-girl rep and playing a bad-ass thief, or (hold your breath) is she stepping into some stilettos and playing a Paris Hilton-type celeb?
Bling Ring also stars Dirty Dancing’s Jennifer Grey, who plays the mom of one of the jailbird teens. Judging by Renee’s latest tweet, it looks like they have a few scenes together. “So excited to be working with Jennifer Grey today!! Such a sweetheart.”
Look out for Bling Ring on Lifetime later this summer!
