How Much Money Does Secret Life's Shailene Woodley Make?

Shailene Woodley (Amy Juergens) is doing pretty flippin' well for herself. Shai reportedly bags a whopping $40,000 per episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Keep in mind this chica is only nineteen years old! Sure beats an afterschool shift at the Shake Shack. But considering Shailene is the leading lady of the most popular teenage TV series around, we'd say every penny was worth it.


Who else is bringing home the big bucks? Like Shailene, the fangtastic Ian Somerhalder of The Vampire Diaries earns $40,000 per eppy. Meanwhile Ashley Tisdale rakes in $30,000 an episode as cutiepie cheerleader Savannah Monroe on Hellcats. With sweet paychecks like that, maybe it's time to invest in some acting lessons and star in a TV show of our own...

For those of you who are Team Adrian, fear not — your gal’s baby shower will be a total hit!

In next week’s Secret Life of the American Teenager, Amy and Grace come through for Adrian (even though she was a major biatch) and throw her an off-the-hook party. That scrapbook is going to look ah-mazing! But if Adrian’s friendless, who’s going to come to the soiree?

Amy invites her besties Lauren and Madison, as well as a bunch of people that Adrian’s “helped out” over the years (whatever that means). Aw, we’re glad these two competing teen moms have finally put their petty argument behind them — for now. It’s only a matter of time before Amy ruins Adrian’s wedding when she accidentally sleeps with Ben or something. Oh, snap!

Shailene Woodley Gives Some Dating Advice!

Are you in desperate need of some boy advice? The Secret Life of the American Teenager’s most rockin’ mom, Shailene Woodley, dishes to Popstar Magazine about what she wants out of a relationship:

“You learn something form every relationship, but I think you should never let someone change who you are. Or, you should never let yourself change for someone else. You know it’s an amazing, flawless, beautiful relationship when you can absolutely, wholeheartedly be who you are and have the other person respect and love you for it.”

You hear that Amy? Don’t let Ricky change you!

Shai also has some words of wisdom about dealing with insecurities: “I was always very insecure about how skinny I was. I was super insecure about it. You are given the body that you are given and there’s nothing you can do about it ... Instead of focusing on the things I didn’t like, I started focusing on the things about myself that I did like ... You are who you are and you’re beautiful no matter what you look like.”
